May BOSS is coming up quickly on the 26th of this week! There's only a few more slots left and we all know this is going to be an epic BOSS before IGC 2012. We have tons of glovers coming from out of state for this month including glovers from UFL. It's going to be exciting to see what these non SoCal glovers will bust out during their matches. 

BOSS Champions is immediately following May BOSS where the top 8 previous BOSS champs and the newly crowned May BOSS winner will face off for a chance to get seeded into IGC playoffs! This means that they don't have to go through all the Swiss rounds of IGC to get into the top 32 of IGC! Who do you think will win BOSS Champions?

IGC tickets will also go up after May BOSS as presale tickets are almost out! We're also giving out huge IGC posters (official movie size) with the purchase of any IGC ticket at any EmazingLights retail store! You can also get your tickets online here.

Remember that the tournament check in starts at 10AM, you don't want to be late to check! If that's a little too early for you, then don't worry because the gloving action really picks up throughout the day. History is about to be made…. That’s right, this is more than just another Glover Invitational… More than just a normal BOSS match. This is the BOSS Champions! BOSS Champions will take place directly following May BOSS (West Covina, May 26, 2012). BOSS Champs will consist of BOSS Champions from previous Month since the 2011 International Gloving Championship. Of course, not all of the months can be represented because October was the Double Teams, and December was the BOSS Invitational. Here are the Glovers that will be competing in the competition...

This months BoSS was an epic matchup of some heavy hitting glovers! The 2nd to last BoSS competition before this year's IGC, its a crucial time to get your practice in and to see what some of the top names are coming up with. This month's was no excuse as many people brought it from all over. Taking 3rd place was [SC] Novuh, a member of Subliminal Creators, one of the up and coming teams from SoCal. In second place was [PLL] Lokey, a true OG and one of the innovators of the modern digit style. Both of them performed well, but they couldn't stay up to [PM] Dunzo's insane tut's and super clean style.

Did you make it out last year? Catch footage from IGC2011, and get ready for round two this year :) That's right! We've all been waiting since last year to see a new champion crowned! Will it be you? The best way to find out who the next champion would be to sign up to compete yourself, or come and join us in the grand championship which is IGC. Stick around for the party afterwards as International Superstar TyDi plays an extended set after the tournament is over.

WOW! BoSS just seems to get better and better! Not only do LaLaby and Stunna work at the same EmazingLights Torrance store, but they are also long time friends, and both are superstars! LaLaBy is a PM Captain, as well both Captains of 'Flow Using Creative Knowledge'. Great work to Stunna who took this competition! It was a super close match! Check it out!

Two almost completely different styles, and both of them being their first time in the finals of a BoSS competition. Who will win? :) Watch the video! We did, about 50 times...And the winner of the Battle was Fry! Congratulations, not only did he win BoSS but he also earned he way onto The PuppetMasters as well! Great job Fry!

What can we say? 2011 was a great finish, but lets start off 2012 the right way! Puppet Master IceKreamTeddy stormed through, showing everyone that this is his year. Out of left field, we are introduced to Boomer, who we are quickly finding out is very up and coming in the gloving scene with his creative and clean digiting. Congrats Teddy, you earned this one!

Seeing as it is the last BoSS of the 2011 year, we decided to hold an invitational. To invite all of our previous champions from BoSS and IGC. Then we thought, why not open up the list and invite some of not only our favorite glovers, but some of the most influential glovers in the scene today. This weekend was a complete success! The 32 spots filled up quick and everyone anticipated to get the title and bragging rights for the rest of the year! The top 3 winners were Team [E] Boo, [AYO?] Stunna, and [PM] Brainwreck. Lets see who wins our next B.O.S.S. competition!
